Corralejo tequila was founded in 1755 and was the first commercial producer of tequila in Mexico, with copper pot stills from Spain, wood-fired adobe brickovens, and French oak barrels for aging. Today, over 200 years later, tequila production continues at Corralejo much as it did in the past.
